This multi-talented Michigan native studied Textiles at Arizona State prior to earning a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications and Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit. She would later work for the Michigan Design Center, gaining valuable experience marketing furniture and textiles to local designers and architects.
As a licensed Michigan real estate agent as well, Amy Awerbuch built a successful career renovating houses and selling residential properties and vacant land for Real Estate One- Max Broock Inc. in Bloomfield Hills. In fact, she sold her $1.2 M home herself before she was even an agent!
The natural beauty and allure of the Southwest would eventually lead her back to Arizona where for two years she "lived her dream"- operating a very successful five-star luxury vacation rental business before turning her " Home & Casita" into a year-round rental property.
